When not in the hospital, you can find me capturing the world through my lens. I am an avid hiker not afraid to take on a challenging trail. My volunteer work and side-projects have shaped my perspective and broadened my horizons.
Capturing Identity of Space
Camera is my companion for so long that my mind is always looking for the ways to frame a space and situation into a photo. I'm particularly drawn to capturing emotions that emerge from the spaces. Nature, street art, and laminar spaces, are some of my frequent motives.
Volunteering and Side-projects
- eSTUDENT is a non-profit organisation with the goal of creating a proactive environment and give students an opportunity to gain experience through various projects. As a member and later team leader I took part in organising various humanitarian and academic projects.
- Hot Science Balloon gives latest insights into medical research, presents talks with science experts and Nobel laureates, and organises networking events. In Hot Science Balloon I was responsible for PR and marketing. I also hosted some networking events and helped with design and video editing.
- School of Interventional Radiology is a 2-day education for medical students giving insight into interventional radiology through workshops and lectures. In 2021, I was the student organiser of School of Interventional Radiology.
- Medicina Fluminensis, a student section, promotes science and scientific education of biomedical students, and organises workshops such as "How to write a good case report". My role in the student section included helping with organisation of the workshop and choosing best congress abstracts to be published in the journal Medicina Fluminensis.
- Speculum is a casual journal of students at Medical University Rijeka
"Adventures Fill Your Soul"
I find solace in the simplicity of the outdoors and the joy of hiking. It's where I discover my most fulfilling adventures.
